Michael Polzl | President, Chief Investment Officer

Michael Polzl is founding partner of Primera+ Inc., an integrated real estate company. Primera+ owned affiliates have extensive office, industrial, and retail real estate holdings in Ontario.

Having grown up in the business, Michael actively works in property management, development management, commercial real estate brokerage and understands their interrelationships throughout the real estate development and investment process.

Michael has been involved with numerous high-profile and large-scale commercial, office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, and multi-residential projects, from inception to completion.

Under Michael’s leadership, one of the affiliates, Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region Ltd., won The Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year (11-49 Employees) award in 2018.

Michael is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Mark Macfarlane | Chief Operating Officer, Chief Strategic Officer

Mark Macfarlane, a co-founder, brings a wealth of experience to the team having spent a decade in management consulting, having started his consulting career with McKinsey and Co. Mark specialized in strategy development and operational model design having developed detailed strategies and approaches for global market entry including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures for companies and private equity firms. Mark manages our market research and insights and oversees the back office functions. Mark holds an MBA from Ivey Business School.
